Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage
(covered by most insurances)
Deep tissue massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper levels of muscle and fascia. It is used for acute and chronic pain.

Prenatal Massage
A prenatal massage is a massage completely accomodated for the pregnant woman. Using a variety of cushions, a massage therapist can relieve you of the stress on your muscles caused by pregnancy. You can receive these massages regularly until you are ready to give birth.
This style of massage can:
- Reduce stress hormones in your body and relax and loosen your muscles.
- Increase in blood flow
- Keep your lymphatic system working at peak efficiency to flush out toxins from your body.
- Reduction in swelling in your hands and feet, relieve carpal tunnel pain, and alleviate headaches and sinus congestion.
- Relieve insomnia, joint pain, neck and back pain, leg-cramping, and sciatica and any other joint or muscular pain!!
Relaxation Massage
(not usually covered by insurance)
Relaxation massage generally focuses on relaxation of the patient. This is not usually covered by insurance.
Benefits of this include:
- Reduction of muscle tension; including muscle tension headaches
- Relief of any stress-related symptoms. This can provide a boost to the immune system.
